Common data exchange between multiple downstream fighter jet programmes
A leading global aerospace and defense manufacturer set out to retire its legacy PCM system and establish the Engineering Master Data System (EMDS) as the enterprise source of authority for standard parts, materials, processes, and components. Beyond migrating over 5.14 million engineering data elements, the initiative required standardized publishing of engineering master data to downstream enterprise systems and aircraft programs. Using the eQube®-DaaS Platform, the organization successfully modernized its engineering data landscape by standardizing engineering data through the eQube®-CDM (Common Data Model), enabling enterprise publishing from EMDS and building a reusable framework supporting current and future aircraft programs.
