Today, eQ announced it has received the ISO 27001-2013 certification for its US and India operations. ISO/IEC 27001 is the best-known standard providing requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). ISMS provides a systematic approach to manage sensitive company information so that it remains secure. It helps manage information about people, processes and IT systems by applying risk management processes. Using this family of standards helps an organization manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details or information entrusted to it by third parties.
